Mylar feeding requires no extra setup, and the drag-clamp helps control large fabric panels during joining operations, making the entire process stable and precise.
The RBS sewing machine is suitable for all common blind fabrics and can be tailored by GMI to match a customer’s specific materials or production style. It can also be adapted for sewing wider indoor screen fabrics or for adding zip systems when required.

A built-in drag-clamp system stabilises large or heavy fabric panels during sewing and joining operations. This controlled tension prevents fabric drift, ensuring clean joins and consistent seam alignment across the full width of the blind.

Fabric joining jig with automatic recognition
The RBS can be supplied with an optional joining jig for accurately joining two separate fabric panels. The machine automatically recognises the fitted jig and applies the correct operating parameters, ensuring consistent alignment, controlled feeding, and straight seams without manual adjustment.
